HPC Field Engineer - Remote

Overview

The HPC Field Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-performance computing solutions, requiring substantial travel within the US and some remote work.

In Short

• Deliver HPC, Hadoop, and Openstack implementation services.
• 75% travel required to customer sites across the US.
• Work from home office when not traveling.
• Lead integration of hardware and software for HPC solutions.
• Supervise junior technicians at customer locations.
• Interface with customers, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and resolutions for deployments.
• Provide pre-sales scoping assistance and SOW reviews.
• Contribute to delivery quality and optimization.
• Drive resolutions for systemic issues.

Requirements

• Experience in HPC, big data, and cloud service delivery.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Knowledge of InfiniBand Networks and 10 GbE Networks.
• Experience with GPU Clusters and related technologies.
• Ability to perform performance testing and tuning.
• Experience in integration and configuration of job schedulers.
• Must be a US citizen living near a major airport.
