Senior Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Data Engineer will be part of the Enterprise Data Management team at PGIM Investments, responsible for implementing data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and other related technologies.

In Short

• Collaborate with business owners and technology leads to support data processing in the Microsoft cloud.
• Implement end-to-end data engineering tasks including sourcing, modeling, and governance.
• Architect solutions using BI tools like Power BI for seamless data integration.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across the data warehouse ecosystem.
• Support workspace architecture strategy through design and implementation of data solutions.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Fabric and mentor teams.
• Create and maintain documentation covering data architecture and processes.
• Stay updated with advancements in data platform technologies.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Financial services experience preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in cloud computing with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and features.
• Experience with data governance tools and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Microsoft certifications in data-related fields preferred.
• Experience in financial services working with various investment products preferred.
