Director, Biopharma Marketing - Remote

Overview

At Personalis, we are transforming the active management of cancer through breakthrough personalized testing. We aim to drive a new paradigm for cancer management, guiding care throughout the patient journey. Our highly sensitive assays combine tumor-and-normal profiling with proprietary algorithms to deliver advanced insights even as cancer evolves over time. Our products are designed to detect minimal residual disease (MRD) and recurrence at the earliest timepoints, enable selection of targeted therapies based on ultra-comprehensive genomic profiling, and enhance biomarker strategy for drug development. Personalis is based in Fremont, California.

In Short

• Own the strategic direction and implementation of commercial marketing activities across the full BioPharma portfolio.
• Build global awareness and drive demand for Personalis products.
• Lead BioPharma promotional marketing campaigns and content development.
• Collaborate on go-to-market strategy and product positioning.
• Manage marketing events, including conferences and webinars.
• Develop partnerships with Sales, Product Management, and R&D.
• Create effective positioning and messages to drive product adoption.
• Participate in internal review processes.
• Manage marketing agency relationships and ensure alignment with commercial goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, life sciences, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree in Life Sciences preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in marketing roles within Pharma or Biotech.
• Experience in NGS or molecular diagnostics preferred.
• Strong creative intuition on design and messaging.
• Ability to develop and present marketing strategies.
• Proven track record of collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
