As a trusted member of the Core Team within our Tech Org, you’ll build impactful tech used by top-tier Fortune 50 financial services institutions. You’re not programmer #300 working on a small part of a niche backoffice project - we act like owners to make a real impact at a scale-up company. You’ll be a pivotal part of our team overcoming technical limitations while accelerating project timelines!

In Short

• Build systems that drive the business and enable customers.
• Develop robust APIs for new frontend applications.
• Integrate Python applications with Go services and APIs.
• Optimize SQL query performance and PostgreSQL structures.
• Enhance applications for scalability and security in AWS.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers in an Agile environment.
• Mentor junior engineers and advocate for best practices.

• Take ownership of the codebase and documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience for cloud platforms.
• Experience with SQL databases and query development.
• Production-level experience with Python.
• Experience creating and maintaining REST APIs.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS tools and architecture.
• Understanding of the web development process, focusing on back-end systems.
