People Inc. is looking for a writer to support the Partnerships News & Deals team to cover timely travel, fashion, and lifestyle-related shopping content on celebrities, trends, reviews, and more for Travel + Leisure.

In Short

• Pitch and write two shopping articles per day, averaging 8 to 10 per week
• Identify and carry out commerce content opportunities within various lifestyle categories
• Write and update stories for commerce tentpoles like Black Friday and Prime Day
• Work across various edit goals with different KPIs and content strategies
• Use data and analytics to brainstorm and guide content decisions
• Collaborate closely with numerous writers and editors
• Monitor social media for commerce opportunities
• Build, edit, and update content within the CMS
• Reach out to high-quality experts for background information and quotes

Requirements

• A commerce writer with at least 2+ years of experience
• Passionate about and/or knowledgeable of the lifestyle commerce space
• Experience covering tentpole shopping holidays like Black Friday and Prime Day
• Detail-oriented and deadline-focused
• Experienced in executing SEO best practices
• A strong writer capable of creating engaging headlines
• A self-starter who can pivot seamlessly as new initiatives arise
