Overview

The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the finance and accounting team, ensuring strong fiscal oversight and financial storytelling to support strategic business decision making.

• Lead the finance and accounting team for the Federation and its associated entities.

• Execute short-term and long-term strategic plans.
• Coach and develop team members to achieve goals.
• Ensure accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP.
• Provide leadership for efficient department operations.
• Manage tax preparation and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and CPA or MBA required.
• 10 years’ experience in accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Experience in quality control of financial data and reporting.
• Leadership experience managing a team of accounting professionals.
• Public accounting and nonprofit accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting software like Abila MIP and Salesforce.
• Passion for strengthening Jewish life and community.
