ARMHS Mental Health Practitioner - Remote

Overview

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking an ARMHS Mental Health Practitioner to join our integrated wellness services team at our Northside Community support program, providing access and support for recovery to underserved communities.

In Short

• Full-Time position, Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with remote work or community outreach available on Fridays.
• Engage clients in their mental health recovery using person-centered principles.
• Facilitate individual and group services addressing various client needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support.
• Document client interactions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Coordinate services with other providers to meet client needs.
• Deliver skill-building and coaching related to individual goals.
• Work within a community support program focused on wellness.
• Must be free of chemical use problems for at least two years prior to hiring.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience in mental health services.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or related field.
• Experience working with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
• Experience with individuals facing housing instability or homelessness is preferred.
• Must have proof of supervised experience or practicum in behavioral sciences.
