In Short

• Work with complex data sets to answer questions and uncover new insights on product features.
• Create and build custom reports and complete analyses and present clear recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Develop a deep understanding of how users interact with ESPN Bet / Hollywood Casino / theScore Bet / theScore apps and websites.
• Support other team members on project needs, data issues relating to both analysis and modeling.
• Help with implementation & adoption of a data exploration tool across the organization.
• Liaise with data engineers to build data pipelines and solve related issues.
• Stay on top of emerging trends in media, sports betting, analytics & marketing industries.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience working as a Data Analyst.
• University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field.
• Strong Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries under minimal directions.
• Experience with data exploration tools such as: Looker, Mode, Amplitude.
• A passion and curiosity for solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
• Ability to take complex data and present it in a clear manner to business stakeholders.
• Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Eager to learn from others and help others grow with you.
