Project Accountant - Construction Accounting - Remote

Overview

Pavago is seeking a Project Accountant to join our client’s team. This role is critical in managing all accounting-related functions for assigned projects, ensuring compliance, and maintaining financial accuracy.

In Short

• Full-Time position in CST Time Zone.
• 4-5 years of accounting experience or an accounting degree.
• Preferably experience in construction accounting or job cost accounting.
• Strong collaboration with project managers required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), Sage Intacct, and Timberscan Titanium preferred.
• Responsibilities include AP & AR, bank reconciliations, and compliance documentation.
• Focus on construction-specific billing requirements.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to work within 8 AM - 6 PM CST.
• Initial focus on AP data entry before transitioning to full project accounting.

Requirements

• Accounting degree or 3-4 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in job cost accounting and/or construction accounting.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Sage Intacct and Timberscan Titanium is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with onsite project managers.
