Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to manage and lead the design, delivery, and construction management for various dynamic linear water and wastewater projects.

In Short

• Manage and lead design and construction management for water/wastewater projects.
• Perform engineering tasks including calculations, drawings, and reports.
• Provide construction management support through submittal reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage project team members.
• Engage in client meetings and presentations.
• Stamp and seal engineering drawings as the Engineer of Record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of the GTA/Ontario engineering consulting market.
• 7+ years of experience in water/wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer registration or eligibility.
• Excellent technical writing and report preparation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge in water/wastewater modeling and optimization.
• Familiarity with GIS tools for spatial analysis.
• Experience with environmental impact assessments.
• Understanding of water quality principles and treatment technologies.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and hydraulic modelling software.
