Water Wastewater Engineer Project Manager - Remote

Overview

Arcadis is looking for a Water Wastewater Engineer / Project Manager to join our Resilience Water Team in Atlanta, Georgia! We offer a flexible hybrid work culture with a balance between remote and in-office work.

In Short

• Manage and lead projects/tasks and clients in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities.
• Supervise and support the work of others and mentor junior level engineering and design/drafting staff.
• Coordinate and manage execution of projects with other disciplines and management consultants.
• Prepare construction packages for engineering, procurement, and construction of water systems.
• Create cost estimates and project schedules, ensuring tasks are completed within budget and on schedule.
• Oversee detailed engineering calculations and design software to solve complex challenges.
• Develop high-quality deliverables for clients including technical memoranda and reports.
• Collaborate with national communities of practice and subject matter experts.
• Work directly with clients to determine needs and deliver solutions.
• Some travel may be required for project site visits and client meetings.

Requirements

• 7 or more years of water/wastewater experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• PE License in Georgia or ability to obtain within one year.
• Project experience in design and construction of water treatment and distribution systems.
• Excellent technical engineering skills in the water/wastewater practice area.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience preparing and reviewing project drawings and specifications.
• Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
• Technical expertise with water/wastewater treatment projects.
• Knowledge of local municipalities in Georgia is a plus.
