Senior Electrical Engineer - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Kingsport, TN team! In this role, you will get to be a part of a team designing facilities of the future.

In Short

• Designing electrical and communication systems
• Designing lightning protection systems
• Performing all required design calculations including lighting, load and arc-flash/short-circuit analysis
• Coordinating between disciplines
• Performing site visits to gather design data
• Working with a team of electrical engineers and designers
• Providing senior-level leadership to mentor junior level engineers
• Pursuing licensure in other states to support department and company growth

Requirements

• Professional engineer license is required (or current FE working towards PE)
• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
• 8+ years experience
• Experience with design of building electrical and telecommunication systems
• CAD/Revit experience is a plus
• SKM/ETAP experience is a plus
• Advanced degree is a plus
• RCDD certification is a plus
