Junior Environmental Professional - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Jr. Environmental Professional to join our team! In this role you will get to support technical and environmental activities in Western Canada.

In Short

• Assist with coordination of site monitoring, investigation, and remediation projects.
• Plan projects, develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and project plans.
• Work with project teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time and budget.
• Perform data entry and QA/QC for soil, groundwater, and vapour data.
• Prepare health and safety plans, technical reports, and other documentation.
• Fieldwork may include soil sampling and monitoring groundwater.
• Supervise drillers and contractors during project execution.
• Work independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills.
• Engage in professional growth and learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in earth sciences, environmental engineering, or similar.
• Prior experience in site assessment and remediation is an asset.
• Strong analytical skills for problem-solving.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Prefer local candidates to the Langley area.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrate values of safety, teamwork, and integrity.
• Maturity in interaction and ability to operate self-sufficiently.
