Insurance Sales Agent - Remote

Overview

The Licensed Insurance Sales Agent is responsible for accurately quoting and placing coverage for homebuilder clients in all active states, servicing client needs for Homeowners insurance, flood, and other personal lines coverage.

In Short

• Solicit and sell homeowners, dwelling, fire, earthquake, flood, condo, renters, windstorm, and personal umbrella policies.
• Issue policies as required.
• Evaluate property risk to quote and recommend insurance coverage.
• Review customer coverage requirements and provide additional insurance products.
• Organize and prioritize work to meet agency requirements.
• Focus on First Class Customer care.
• Return voice mails and emails daily.
• Identify target source leads for outbound call follow-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills in a fast-paced sales office.
• Outgoing, customer service focused, and friendly personality.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Good computer skills experienced with Microsoft and Windows-based programs.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to act with minimal direction.
• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• A Minimum of 2 years of experience in Homeowners Insurance.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products.
• Property & Casualty Agent License in the resident state.
