Senior Building Intelligence Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Building Intelligence Engineer, you will leverage your engineering background and knowledge of HVAC automation/control systems to optimize energy efficiency in multifamily residential buildings and hotels.

In Short

• Serve as a subject matter expert for building automation in the greater Washington DC area.
• Conduct on-site assessments and energy analyses of client buildings.
• Manage the installation and setup phase of Parity’s services.
• Support sales teams by providing market insights and developing proposals.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and incentive programs.
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to optimize HVAC systems.
• Provide technical signoff on deliverables from junior engineers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local contractors.
• Participate in the energy incentive application process.
• Contribute to reducing CO2 emissions through innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering with a focus on HVAC or related fields.
• 5-10 years of experience in MEP Engineering or Building Automation.
• Familiarity with energy incentive programs.
• Ability to travel within the greater DC metro area.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Experience with energy auditing and energy services.
• Knowledge of building energy performance standards.
• Experience managing installation or retrofit projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with Niagara Tridium products is beneficial.
