Principal Consultant, Incident Response (Unit 42) - Weekend Schedule - Remote

Overview

The Principal Consultant will lead incident response engagements, working directly with clients to manage and guide them through forensic investigations and remediation.

• Weekend Work Schedule is Friday-Monday (10 hr work day/ 40 hr work week)
• Perform reactive incident response functions including host-based analysis on various systems
• Examine log sources to identify evidence of malicious activity
• Investigate data breaches using forensic tools
• Manage incident response engagements and provide guidance on remediation
• Travel requirements of approximately 20% to meet business demands
• Mentorship of team members in best practices

Requirements

• 8+ years of incident response or digital forensics consulting experience
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams
• Proficient with host-based forensics and data breach response
• Experience with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Splunk, etc.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent military experience required
• Eligibility for UK Security Check (SC) Clearance
