MDR Analyst - Shift Position (Unit 42) - Remote

Overview

This position is a Shift Position within the Unit 42 team at Palo Alto Networks, focusing on cybersecurity and incident response in a remote work environment.

In Short

• Join a new emerging team within Palo Alto’s Unit 42.
• Work on incident lifecycle from outbreak to full remediation.
• Provide critical feedback to improve security products.
• Collaborate with Security Research and Threat Intelligence teams.
• Expected to work Saturday and Sunday shifts.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
• 1+ years of experience in SOC/IR required.
• Familiarity with attack trends and vectors necessary.
• Hands-on experience with Cortex XSOAR or Cortex XDR is an advantage.
• Malware Analysis experience is a plus.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a multi-tiered SOC/IR.
• Experience with EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and firewall technologies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Some experience in Malware Analysis is advantageous.
• Certifications like CEH or CompTIA CYSA+ are a plus.
