In Short

• Prepare and finalize federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
• Review financial statements and analyze source documents.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready records aligned with IRS requirements.
• Communicate with clients regularly via email.
• Turn email correspondence into actionable tasks within Canopy CRM.
• Collaborate with the admin assistant for task assignment and deadline tracking.
• Triage and maintain the tax team’s shared email inbox.
• Consistently meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Stay current with U.S. tax code changes.

Requirements

• Experience in tax preparation and financial analysis.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction.
• Familiarity with Canopy CRM.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of U.S. tax laws, especially for California.
