Overview

PadSplit is hiring for a Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data infrastructure that drives analytics, reporting, and decision-making across the organization.

In Short

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop and maintain data models for self-service analytics.
• Optimize database performance in PostgreSQL.
• Implement search capabilities using NoSQL technologies.
• Collaborate with data analysts to create insightful dashboards.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
• Work with software engineers to integrate data solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency in data warehousing technologies.
• Strong skills in data transformation and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of ElasticSearch or Solr.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
