Overview

PadSplit is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure, optimize performance, and ensure secure and reliable backend systems to support affordable housing.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Manage AWS RDS (PostgreSQL) performance and schema changes.
• Develop backend services using Python and Django.
• Implement and improve CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Enhance system monitoring and logging.
• Strengthen security and compliance measures.
• Optimize application and query performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine the platform.

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS services.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL performance tuning.
• Experience with Python and Django.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Comfortable making technical decisions and mentoring others.
