Paddy is an AI-native platform that radically simplifies the teaching workflow – from planning to material creation to analyzing learning progress. Teachers save time, gain clarity about their students' learning progress, and can provide more individualized support.

Since Paddy is designed to be AI-native, UX/UI plays a central role – our interfaces must make complex technology accessible so that it can be understood and used immediately in the stressful school environment.

In Short

• Develop end-to-end design solutions from the initial idea to prototypes to final UX/UI in Figma.
• Conduct user research and usability tests to understand the real needs of teachers.
• Translate AI functionalities into intuitive interfaces that work under time pressure.
• Establish and maintain our design system for consistency, scalability, and quality.
• Work closely with engineering to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of your designs.
• Actively shape our design culture – pragmatic, quality-driven, and user-centered.

Requirements

• Experience in UX & UI design for digital products, ideally in the SaaS or EdTech sector.
• Experience with AI features or a passion for making complex systems accessible to real users.
• A strong portfolio focused on user guidance, system design, and visual clarity.
• Strategic thinker who works hands-on – from whiteboard to final handoff.
• Enjoy working closely with engineers & product as part of a real core team.
• Fluent in German and very good in English.
• Bonus: Experience with Next.js or prototyping in code.
