Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) – Web3 Security - Remote

Overview

P2P.org is the largest institutional staking provider with a TVL of over $10B and a market share exceeding 20% in restaking. We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to define and execute our global security strategy.

In Short

• Define and drive the company-wide cybersecurity strategy.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of cybersecurity engineers.
• Oversee security operations, monitoring, and incident response capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with various regulatory/security frameworks.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to embed security into the SDLC.
• Lead hands-on technical work including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Prepare the company for future licensing and regulatory regimes.
• Promote a strong security culture through training and awareness.
• Work closely with regulators, auditors, and clients.
• Familiarity with blockchain, crypto custody, and smart contract attack vectors.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
• 5+ years developing security programs or defining secure architectures.
• 3+ years managing cybersecurity engineers.
• Deep technical expertise in penetration testing and secure systems architecture.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native security (AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM preferred.
