Overview

The MSSQL Database Administrator at Kyndryl will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the IT infrastructure, ensuring systems run at peak performance while working with cutting-edge technologies.

In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases (2012-2019).
• Develop and enforce database standards and security protocols.
• Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Implement and manage database replication and high availability solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database performance.
• Develop and maintain database documentation and monitoring scripts.
• Resolve database issues, including SQL errors and performance bottlenecks.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server architecture and features.
• 5+ years of experience as MS SQL DBA in data center environments.

Requirements

• Proficient in T-SQL, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Strong understanding of database security and compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with database monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).
• Knowledge of cyber security standards and risk management.
• Degree qualification required.
• Certifications in MSSQL DBA - DP300 preferred.
