Manager of Accounting - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Accounting to lead and oversee all day-to-day accounting operations across multiple regions. This is initially a 4-6 month contract with the potential of becoming perm/full-time. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, payroll (multi-country), general ledger, expenses, vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting—including public company and board-level reporting.

In Short

• Manage full cycle accounting operations.
• Perform bank reconciliation and month-end journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain amortization schedules.
• Process payroll across multiple countries.
• Review partnership invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Prepare and file HST/GST and other tax returns.
• Conduct balance sheet reviews and adjustments.
• Ensure timely monthly and quarterly close.
• Support AP/AR processes across multiple currencies.
• Coordinate corporate insurance policy renewals.

Requirements

• Experience in accounting management.
• Strong knowledge of international finance operations.
• Proficiency in NetSuite.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage complexity.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with compliance and tax regulations.
• Experience with financial reporting.
• Ability to mentor junior staff.
• Strong analytical skills.
