Junior Business Intelligence Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst with at least 2 years of experience in transforming data into meaningful insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a solid understanding of ETL processes to support data-driven decision-making.

In Short

• Build, maintain, and optimise dashboards and reports using Looker and Power BI.
• Perform advanced data analysis using Excel and Google Sheets.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries for data extraction and validation.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis using Python (Pandas, NumPy, visualisation tools).
• Work with ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses.
• Collaborate with data engineering to maintain and improve ETL workflows.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reporting systems.
• Automate repetitive data tasks using Python or SQL-based workflows.
• Develop BI solutions to improve reporting efficiency and data accessibility.
• Monitor performance and integrity of BI tools, dashboards, and data pipelines.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, or a similar field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions).
• Proficient in Python for data analysis.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with Looker (LookML is a plus).
• Experience with Power BI (data models, DAX, report building).
• Solid understanding of ETL concepts and experience supporting or building ETL workflows.
• Good understanding of data warehousing and relational databases.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
