Overview

As a Controller at Out of the Box Technology, you will serve as a financial leader and strategic advisor, ensuring financial accuracy and process efficiency for clients across various industries.

In Short

• Serve as the primary financial contact for a portfolio of clients.
• Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close.
• Oversee client accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Implement and improve internal controls and reporting systems.
• Support strategic decisions with financial data and insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet client expectations.
• Stay updated on GAAP and accounting technology tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA Required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong QuickBooks knowledge; QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Must reside in or around Dallas, TX.
