In Short

• Lead the development, protection, and strategy for the domestic and international trademark portfolio.
• Conduct thorough U.S. and international clearance searches for trademarks and product designs.
• Own the development and strategy for the copyright portfolio.
• Lead enforcement actions and manage trademark, copyright, and domain disputes.
• Review advertising and promotional materials for marketing and regulatory issues.
• Conduct risk assessments and advise on claim substantiation requirements.
• Monitor the competitive landscape for potential IP infringement.
• Provide education and proactive counseling to manage risk.
• Liaise with outside law firms and internal business partners for IP matters.

Requirements

• Experience in intellectual property law, particularly trademark and copyright.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in consumer products and healthcare.
• Attention to detail and strong issue spotting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with marketing and legal teams.
• Experience managing IP disputes and enforcement actions.
