Overview

The Global Mobility Specialist serves as the go-to expert for immigration and relocation matters, providing valuable insights to stakeholders regarding company policies. This role involves effective vendor management and addressing escalations related to employee cases. Collaborating with our third-party global mobility vendor, the Global Mobility Specialist ensures compliance with immigration regulations while offering robust support to employees during their relocation journey. By fostering strong relationships with relocation service providers, immigration consultants, and other external partners, the Global Mobility Specialist is dedicated to delivering a high quality service and cost-effective solutions for both the company and its employees.

In Short

  • Serve as the main point of contact to guide key stakeholders on our global mobility policies.
  • Oversee and facilitate the onboarding of a third-party vendor to enhance our global mobility initiatives
  • Manage and nurture our partnerships with external vendors and service providers in global mobility
  • Monitor vendor performance closely to guarantee compliance with their Service Level Agreements.
  • Help connect vendors with employees and stakeholders for consultations on international assignments and relocation services, such as visa processing, housing options, schooling, and transportation
  • Advise on policy changes related to immigration and relocation
  • Work together with the HR, Legal, and Finance teams to facilitate seamless operations and effectively resolve any issues that arise concerning global mobility
  • Stay well-informed about the latest immigration laws and regulations
  • Partner with global mobility vendor to ensure trackers and case management tools are maintained to support immigration, relocation, and tax cases

Requirements

  • Collaborate with our global mobility partner to develop accurate cost and budget estimates for international assignments and relocation packages
  • Oversee and optimise relocation expenses, ensuring that we utilise the most cost-effective solutions available
  • Keep track of all relocation and immigration activities by ensuring that accurate records are maintained both internally and by our global mobility vendor
  • Generate consistent reports on global mobility initiatives, encompassing cost assessments and compliance metrics.
  • Examine data to uncover trends and discover opportunities for enhancing processes
