Senior/Staff Backend Engineer - Java - Remote

Overview

As a Backend Engineer at Oscilar, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers our SaaS platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the delivery of highly reliable, low latency, and scalable services that meet the needs of our global enterprise clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend software development, focusing on Java and AWS.
• Strong experience in building low latency, high scale services.
• Proficient in Java programming and its ecosystem.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and security best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
