Overview

ORIC Pharmaceuticals is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to improving patients’ lives by Overcoming Resistance In Cancer. ORIC’s clinical stage product candidates include ORIC-114, a brain penetrant inhibitor designed to selectively target EGFR and HER2 with high potency against exon 20 insertion mutations, being developed across multiple genetically defined cancers, and ORIC-944, an allosteric inhibitor of the polycomb repressive complex 2 (PRC2) via the EED subunit, being developed for prostate cancer. Beyond these product candidates, ORIC is also developing multiple precision medicines targeting other hallmark cancer resistance mechanisms. ORIC has offices in South San Francisco and San Diego, California.

• Management of outsourced and in-house research activities.
• Lead analytical method development and validation.
• Manage GMP manufacturing and product characterization activities.
• Author and review technical reports and regulatory filings.
• Work cross-functionally with various departments.
• Maintain oversight of batch genealogy and stability.
• Coordinate with CROs, CDMOs, and CMOs for tech transfer.
• Manage project deliverables and budget planning.
• Communicate research results effectively.
• Support the development of new therapeutics for cancer patients.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or relevant field with 10+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and scientific curiosity.
• Extensive hands-on experience with analytical technologies.
• Experience in writing and reviewing product specifications.
• Knowledge of cross-functional activities in drug development.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in late-stage pharmaceutical drug development.
• Understanding of ICH and regulatory guidances.
• Scientific excellence demonstrated by publications and presentations.
• Negotiable onsite, hybrid, or remote work options.
