Senior Auditor, Finance Governance and Controls - Remote

Overview

The Senior Auditor, Finance Governance and Controls reports to the Manager, Finance Governance and Controls and will be responsible for taking a key role in evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of management's financial controls for Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and serves as a trusted advisor to control owners.

In Short

• Assist in the coordination of management SOX 404 process controls documentation.
• Perform SOX testing of design and operating effectiveness.
• Assist in the review of SOX workpapers.
• Coordinate with business owners to ensure proper control design.
• Maintain Risk and Control Matrix.
• Coordinate external audit and finance team collaboration.
• Manage PBC coordination between external audit and finance partners.
• Develop remediation plans for identified testing exceptions.
• Implement, monitor, and test remediation plans.
• Assist in ad hoc projects as required.

• Understanding of internal controls and US GAAP.
• Professional qualifications like CPA/CIA/CISA are advantageous.
• 3+ years’ experience in public accounting with audit and SOX 404 experience preferred.
