Overview

The Lead Exchange Optimization Analyst at OpenX will focus on improving the efficiency, performance, and monetization of the global programmatic exchange by analyzing large datasets and driving actionable insights.

  • Analyze large-scale exchange data to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses related to monetization.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using SQL and BI tools.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on bid request data quality.
  • Translate complex data findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Work in a high-scale, cloud-native analytics environment.
  • Utilize SQL expertise to drive data-driven strategies.
  • Engage in exploratory data analysis and ad hoc investigations.
  • Contribute to the evolution of one of the largest ad exchanges.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics or optimization in a programmatic environment.
  • Expert-level SQL skills, particularly in BigQuery.
  • Strong background in data analysis and statistics.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and identify optimization levers.
  • Experience with OpenRTB and programmatic auction mechanics.
  • Clear communication skills for technical findings.
  • Proficiency in building dashboards and reports.
