Senior Backend Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Collaborate with partners to develop core systems and create APIs.
• Build internal tooling and APIs for business and engineering processes.
• Implement systemic changes to align systems with architectural goals.
• Integrate with external services for payments, documents, and claims.
• Source real-time data on property characteristics and risk profiles.
• Provide mentorship and support to team members.
• Contribute to architectural and operational decisions.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and biweekly retrospectives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in backend web-stack applications.
• Professional experience with Go.
• Track record of improving stability, performance, and scalability.
• Ability to deliver complete systems independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills to explain technical concepts.
