Senior Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to support our exciting and innovative product roadmap at 32Co, a health technology company focused on improving healthcare delivery.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js (NestJS).
• Build and optimise scalable data models and queries in MongoDB.
• Architect and implement serverless applications leveraging AWS Lambda.
• Integrate and manage asynchronous workflows using Amazon SQS.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of professional software development experience with Node.js.
• Strong experience with the NestJS framework.
• Strong experience with MongoDB.
• Proven knowledge of AWS Lambda and Serverless architecture.
• Experience with Amazon SQS for messaging and workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
