Overview

Open Philanthropy’s Immigration & Global Workforce team ensures that we can hire and support mission-aligned staff from across the globe, while managing complex immigration and employment logistics with care, clarity, and responsiveness. As our team continues to expand, we’re looking for a new team member to help us sustain and improve the systems that make this possible.

In Short

• Join a three-person team focused on business immigration and global employment support.
• Manage employment-based green card and other long-term U.S. immigration processes.
• Contribute to long-term immigration strategy and planning.
• Provide support for nonimmigrant visa matters.
• Help manage global employment logistics for international staff.
• Support process improvements related to EOR hiring and management.
• Contribute to internal planning around international employment policies.
• Identify and contribute to process improvements across immigration and EOR systems.
• Be flexible and contribute to the mission of Open Philanthropy.
• Work remotely and collaborate with team members across different time zones.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in business immigration.
• Experience with employment-based green card cases.
• Familiarity with global employment support through EOR arrangements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage high volumes of email.
• Organized and detail-oriented to handle time-sensitive processes.
• Reliable and responsive under pressure.
• Familiarity with Open Philanthropy’s mission is a plus.
