Marketing Designer - Remote

Overview

The Open Home Foundation is looking for a Marketing Designer based in Europe to join our Marketing team. This team is responsible for connecting the foundation's projects, such as Home Assistant and ESPHome, with the people who benefit from them most: users, contributors, and partners. By making it easier for people to discover, use, and get involved with our projects, the Open Home ecosystem can grow in a way that's aligned with our values.

In Short

• Work on a wide range of content projects including website, blog, guides, social media, newsletters, and events.
• Transform content concepts into high-quality visuals.
• Interpret technical information and create compelling visuals.
• Maintain visual identity across all marketing channels.
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure project cohesion.
• Participate in creative reviews and iterate on feedback.

Requirements

• A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• Prior experience as a graphic designer.
• A strong portfolio of design work.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understanding of design systems and branding principles.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• European residency and eligibility to work in Europe.
