Medical Writer, Medical Communications - Remote

Overview

Our Medical Writers provide research and writing support to assigned brand teams and new business efforts. They work closely with our Medical Directors, providing de novo writing support and/or repurposing technically high-level projects.

• Providing research and writing support on various projects.
• Developing high-quality written materials that are scientifically accurate.
• Maintaining in-depth knowledge in relevant therapy areas.
• Consulting with internal teams to develop images and interactive assets.
• Incorporating feedback and revisions from various stakeholders.
• Working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Interacting with key experts to solicit input and resolve queries.
• Attending virtual meetings and occasional on-site events.
• Following standard operating procedures for project management.
• Ability to perform all duties remotely and online.

Requirements

• A strong scientific understanding (MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred).
• Prior publications or medical affairs experience.
• Ability to perform medical literature searches.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Openness to constructive feedback.
• Desire to learn and grow within the company.
• Ability to interpret scientific statistics and clinical trial documents.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work independently and in a team structure.
• Proficiency with MS365 programs and PubMed searches.
