Overview

The Market Access Consultant supports pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies in developing and executing payer strategies that optimize product value, pricing, and reimbursement across key global markets.

In Short

  • Lead clients in payer strategy development and market access planning.
  • Identify opportunities for Strategic Market Access business.
  • Maintain knowledge of global payer requirements and pricing frameworks.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality market access projects.
  • Engage with clients to meet project objectives.
  • Collaborate with business development teams for new opportunities.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of global payer systems and HTA processes.
  • Experience in market access consultancy.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Good clinical knowledge across various specialties.
  • Experience in primary payer research.
  • Ability to analyze clinical and economic evidence.
  • Experience in developing payer engagement materials.
  • Excellent project management and presentation skills.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in an additional language is a plus.
