Engineering Manager, Client Team - Remote

Overview

We are hiring an Engineering Manager to drive key protocol initiatives for Optimism, including the OP Stack and the Superchain. In this role, you will be leading a team of engineers dedicated to developing the Optimism core protocol, empowering them to achieve technical productivity, overseeing career development, and collaborating with the product team on prioritization.

Requirements

• 4+ years of people management experience at a high-growth startup.
• Strong working knowledge of cryptocurrency protocols.
• Experience building crypto/web3 products in the Ethereum ecosystem.
• Experience in Go and Solidity strongly preferred.
• Experience recruiting and building high-performing engineering teams.
• Ability to manage and develop both junior and senior engineers.
• Ability to develop and ship long-term, complex engineering roadmaps.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear and persuasive writing and communication skills.
