Controller for US Companies - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on Controller to lead all accounting operations and own the integrity of financial reporting under US GAAP.

In Short

• Lead all accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Prepare and review consolidations and multi-entity reporting.
• Design and improve internal controls over financial reporting.
• Manage cash positioning and treasury operations.
• Collaborate with FP&A on budgets and forecasts.
• Own the ERP and accounting tech stack.
• Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Foster collaboration across various departments.

Requirements

• Active CPA required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Expert knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proven success leading monthly close and audits.
• Track record of implementing or upgrading ERPs.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
