Junior AR Accountant - Remote

Overview

This role focuses on ensuring the accurate and timely billing of customers while driving improvements to billing processes. Working closely with the Finance and Sales team, the successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high financial control standards and support ongoing improvements.

In Short

• Creating and issuing high volumes of invoices efficiently and accurately within set time frames.
• Raising credit notes and preparing adjusting journals.
• Supporting month-end close processes.
• Handling customer enquiries regarding invoices.
• Updating accounting records with new payments and balances.
• Communicating with customers to resolve payment issues.
• Posting of cash receipts.
• Assisting at the Year End audit.
• Supporting the revenue controller in all AR related processes.
• Seeking process improvement opportunities, leveraging technology for automation.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as a revenue assistant, biller, or credit controller.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Understanding of financial procedures.
• Ability to build strong relationships with teams and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce and/or Netsuite is a plus.
• Strong administration skills with the ability to manage high volumes of work.
