Junior Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll help manage payables and receivables, to ensure our financial operations run smoothly. In Short

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain and reconcile financial records in QuickBooks.
• Assist in managing our travel and expense software, Navan.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on collections.
• Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy.
• Work closely with internal teams to support financial processes.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software).
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus.
