Inventory & Cost Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Inventory & Cost Accountant will play a key role within our Accounting team at OLIPOP, ensuring accuracy in inventory accounting and participating in the year-end process.

In Short

• Manage daily cost accounting transactions within a manufacturing environment.
• Ensure accurate accounting for inventory transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Facilitate the month-end accounting close process for inventory.
• Analyze sales, margins, and manufacturing variances.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory and cost revaluation.
• Implement process improvements in ERP systems.
• Provide support for strategic initiatives within Supply Chain.
• Document and maintain accounting processes and controls.
• Develop cycle count program.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams on projects.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a high growth business.
• 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting systems.
• ERP software experience (NetSuite preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prioritize among competing priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Experience with collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom preferred.
