Senior Inventory Cost Accountant - Remote

Overview

Antelope is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Inventory Cost Accountant to lead inventory and cost accounting activities, ensuring accurate cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory valuation, and margin analysis.

In Short

• Lead inventory reconciliation and management activities.
• Perform month-end close processes related to inventory and COGS.
• Support NetSuite system enhancements and integrations.
• Conduct audits and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze and calculate inventory landed costs.
• Build relationships with 3PL and co-manufacturers.
• Document and maintain inventory processes.
• Monitor and mitigate risks related to inventory management.
• Perform continuous cycle-count reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate COGS and inventory reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
• Knowledge of NetSuite and its implementations.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• CPA and/or graduate degree highly desirable.
• Experience with acquisitions and multi-brand environments.
