Overview

OlamAid e.V. is an international aid organisation, dedicated to responding to the evolving needs of crisis and conflict-affected populations. Our mission is to support communities as they transition from crisis to recovery, rehabilitation, and sustainable living. One of our main focuses is vulnerable groups and minorities among the affected population.

In Short

• Manage and oversee the project lifecycle, ensuring project goals and standards are met.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures in collaboration with the Finance Department.
• Maintain technical knowledge of aid methods used within the project.
• Coordinate a project team to foster motivation and collaboration.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
• Develop an OlamAid country strategy for Ukraine.
• Identify funding opportunities and collaborate with the Development Department.
• Ensure visibility of OlamAid and its programmes in Ukraine.

Requirements

• Academic degree in international development or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination or management.
• Understanding of project management cycles and budgeting.
• Experience in team coordination and fostering collaborative environments.
• Ability to travel to project locations in Ukraine and to Berlin, Germany.
• Strong representation, networking, and partnership development skills.
• Strong entrepreneurial skills and ability to identify innovative opportunities.
• Excellent understanding of the local context in Ukraine.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Native-level Ukrainian and excellent English; German is an advantage.
