Research Manager - Remote

Overview

The Research Manager will help boost OCI’s capacity to produce timely and impactful analysis in support of campaigns to challenge the fossil fuel industry and advance climate justice. This position is responsible for working closely with the Research Co-Directors to manage the production of strategic and compelling research, in line with organizational, program and research team goals.

• Ensure quality control and content editing of research products.
• Participate in organizational planning and budgeting processes.
• Respond to media inquiries and cultivate relationships with media personnel.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in research and communication.
• 3+ years in a senior research role with project management experience.
• Strong quantitative data analysis skills.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with climate and energy policy.
• Demonstrated commitment to social and environmental justice.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Existing relationships in climate justice and advocacy spaces preferred.
