In Short

• Lead projects related to direct-to-consumer lead generation models, credit risk analytics, fraud detection, identity verification, collections, and servicing model development.
• Work with a versatile team of data scientists and financial professionals.
• Design and implement models for Octane's lending business and loan portfolios.
• Apply machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques.
• Own the model development lifecycle from conception to deployment.
• Analyze large data sets to derive insights and recommendations.
• Research new modeling techniques and tools.
• Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years in a data science role or PhD with 3+ years in a senior data science role.
• High fluency with SQL, SparkSQL, Python, and statistical/ML packages.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud computing environments.
• Experience with Git for code management.
• Experience deploying machine learning models to production.
