Lead Revenue Accountant - Remote

Overview

Ocient is looking to hire a Lead Accountant to combine excellent analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of accounting principles in order to successfully fulfill key responsibilities, as well as assist in other areas as needed.

In Short

• Handle day-to-day accounting functions, focusing on revenue.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations in compliance with GAAP.
• Research complex technical accounting issues.
• Support monthly financial reporting process and prepare close packages.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting to CFO and CEO.
• Prepare revenue forecasts and financial plans.
• Prepare GAAP compliant annual financial statements.
• Assist with financial audits.
• Work with commissions and General Accounting.
• Organize and document work papers properly.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with ASC 606.
• Experience with booked journal entries or evaluated revenue contracts.
• Experience with Netsuite Advanced Revenue Management system required.
• Experience drafting financial statements and footnotes.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• CPA or progress toward CPA.
