Overview

As a Web Developer at Oceans, you'll lead efforts to ensure digital platforms meet accessibility standards while delivering user-friendly web experiences for all audiences.

In Short

Conduct accessibility audits across 200+ websites.
Ensure compliance with WCAG, ARIA, and related standards.
Update layouts and styles using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Write clean, semantic, and accessible code.
Troubleshoot and maintain multiple websites.
Collaborate with leadership on feature requests and improvements.
Contribute to internal training materials on accessibility best practices.
Transition from accessibility projects to ongoing site management.
Implement process improvements for accessibility across platforms.
Work inclusively with diverse teams.

Requirements

Professional proficiency in English.
Background in web development with expertise in accessibility standards.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with accessibility testing tools.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Passion for inclusive design is a plus.
Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms is a bonus.
Familiarity with React.js and REST APIs is an advantage.
