Overview

The Product-Led Growth Marketing Manager at Oceans will be responsible for driving customer conversion, retention, and upsell opportunities through in-product engagement and optimization in a remote role.

• Monitor user behavior to identify upsell opportunities.
• Develop in-product prompts and messaging that encourage subscription upgrades.
• Create onboarding and adoption strategies for deeper product usage.
• Build targeted messaging for users at risk of cancellation.
• Optimize freemium website pages and sign-up flows.
• Conduct A/B testing across web and in-product experiences.
• Use product analytics tools to identify trends.
• Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams.
• Act as the voice of the customer in retention initiatives.
• Leverage PLG platforms to manage churn and retention campaigns.

Requirements

• 3–5 years in growth, product, or retention marketing, ideally in SaaS.
• Proven experience using product data for upsell and engagement opportunities.
• Familiarity with conversion rate optimization best practices.
• Proficiency with tools like GainSight, Pendo, or UserPilot.
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing.
• Excellent skills in crafting persuasive messaging.
• Ability to work across Product, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
